I had exactly one weekend of study time for one exam.
The script had 80 pages, the book 600, so I had to choose hard: The script should contain all the relevant content. What do I need the book for? I decided to use it only as a reference book. That saved 1 week of reading. Then I flipped through the script with two questions in mind:
- If I were the examiner, what would I ask?
- What content is 80% likely not to be covered?
I simply crossed out topics with low relevance with a thick pen. Then I clarified the internal structure with colors, hyphens and headings and translated important facts into learning pictures.
