It can be helpful to visualise your learning goal permanently. For example, design a postcard with your learning objective. Choose a motivating picture or design or paint the front yourself. On the back you can write to yourself. What would you write to yourself from the future when you have achieved your learning goal? What would you have done well?
Put the postcard in a clearly visible place at your learning centre. Especially in the case of longer training courses, the goal may already be in the distant future.
