Tips for effective learning

A study plan and study methods are good prerequisites for effective learning. We’ve put together some more tips for you to keep in mind during your next exam period.

A quiet learning environment: Remove all things that could disturb you. This includes your cell phone, music, or the e-mail program on your computer.
Get enough sleep: Only when you are well rested will you have enough energy to study. You will notice that you can concentrate better.
Start early enough: It is rarely effective to study at the last minute. Start early enough and you won’t get stressed.
Study in a group: Sometimes it can be helpful to study with others. It’s motivating and you can help each other if you don’t understand something.
Regular repetition: Practice, practice, practice – only if you repeat the material regularly will you be able to recall it later without problems.
