Taking notes with the Cornell method

    Those who take notes well in lectures not only retain the material better in their heads, but also have a good basis for repeating the material later. A proven learning method for taking notes is the so-called “Cornell Method”.

    Basically, it’s about dividing up your sheet of notebook paper so that it’s used as neatly and effectively as possible. Your sheet of paper is divided into three sections. The largest section in the middle is for notes. The left column is for questions and in the bottom third you write a summary in your own words.
