The Marketplace Method

Some students learn best in groups. For example, they can take turns playing “teacher” and answering each other’s question in detail.

The marketplace method works similarly. Work out a topic together. Each group member then thinks of three questions and researches them extensively until they can answer the question thoroughly.

Now the participants meet in the “marketplace”. They ask each other the questions and together they discuss the topic. This provides a comprehensive presentation and discussion on the subject matter.

In addition, new material emerges, which everyone remembers well.
