In order to be able to concentrate optimally on the learning material, three levels of attention must be optimized:
- Activation is the basis for the ability to concentrate. In order to develop its full capacity, the brain depends on the best possible supply of oxygen, nutrients and energy. It is therefore necessary to find out why a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
- Orientation: As soon as the brain is activated, it is always alert. It can’t help but learn. The question, however, is what to focus on. External stimuli can attract attention. In order to concentrate optimally, one should avoid all distractions.
- Focus: Thanks to the cerebrum, one is able to block out distractions and focus one’s attention. This ability can be trained.
